Pendent Belly

Ideal indication for the surgery of a pendent belly is the over excess of fatty tissue in the abdomen area together with loose skin with stria or scars in its lower half. The operation is also suitable for women who after pregnancy suffer from flappy skin even though they do not have too much fat tissue.

Removal of pendent belly is an operation when the excessive skin fat wave is removed. Plastic surgery of the abdomen wall is made as well as the connection of often spread abdominal muscles. Next, the surgery cut is closed by the stitching method.

Every clinic and every surgeon prefers a different surgery approach and consequently a shape of the post-surgery scar. At our workplace we use the method that in the end brings perfectly firm belly and a post-surgery scar which is fine, gently arched and does not exceed past horns of hip bones on both sides. It is understood that this scar must be easily hidden underneath the underwear or a swimsuit.

The operation is done in total anaesthesia with 4-day hospitalization. An elastic outfit in the shape of a body or flexing underwear shall be worn for the following 4 weeks.
