Nose Surgery (Rhinoplasty)

Nose is a dominant part of the face and maybe that is why so many patients long for its alteration.

Rhino-plastics or surgical nose shape adjustment does not necessarily have to mean only esthetic operation. It can also improve breathing. The operation takes about one hour and is done under total anaesthesia. The operation is concluded by an inner tamponade and an outer modeling bandaging or plaster splint. Post-surgical phase and recuperation is every patient's individual process. In general we can however say that the earliest we can evaluate the results of the operation is not less than three weeks.

At our clinic we also do the laser assisted nose job, so-called profile adjustment. This is when the nose tubercle is of smaller or larger caliber or an enlarged nose tip is decreased in size and smoothened by a special laser without a more serious intervention to the bone or cartilage structure of the nose. Advantage of this surgery is a shorter time of healing without the necessity of a cast fixation. On the other hand it is not possible to perdorm more serious surgeries by this method.
