Atonic skin in the face and neck area

Together with aging there are symptoms visible on the face and neck as well. The skin weakens and the facial sub-dermal structure gets looser. We can compare this effect to the face sliding downwards.

A method, so-called face-lift can reverse the aging of the skin. It is a surgical operation where from surgical cuts situated just in front of the ear lobe or in suitable cases in the front corner of the ear lobe loosens the face and neck skin from the under-layer attachment of the face. This under-layer is then lifted and firmed by a special technique. The loosen skin is stretched and finely sewed in the above mentioned cuts.

The follow-up care is rather of ambulatory character. For the following two weeks the patient wears a special face bandage. During that period the post-surgery swelling and bruises absorb.

If there skin is not a combination of atonic skin and wrinkles, we combine the treatment with laser peeling which flattens wrinkles in the face areas which cannot be reached by the lifting (like the areas around mouth and chin, the lower eye lid lamellas).

For the combined treatment there are 4-5 days of hospitalization needed in order to secure full comfort of the patient connected with the face treatment and to avoid possible complications.
