Hemorrhoids

One of common problems more than 50% of population suffern are the hemorrhoids. These are venous knots in the anal area. When there are complications they can start to be painful, itchy, burning or even bleeding.  Patients vera often postpone their visit at  doctor mainly because of being ashamed. It is necessary to realize that the sooner they start the cure the less complicated treatment it is going to be. If patients come promptly many problems can be solved ambulatory.

Soothing treatment by creams and suppositories is often not enough and it is necessary to imply a surgical solution.

Treatment methods in our center are dependant on the seriousness of the ailment:

Smaller hemorrhoids knots are cured by a surgery assisted by a special surgical laser during which the venous knots are destroyed. The advantage is the immediate termination of the venous knots in the anal area and seizure of bleeding. The operation is done in short total anaesthesia.

Larger hemorrhoids knots are then cured by the unique Longo method. This surgical procedure is based on the repair of the rectocele and closure of the end artery branches which supply this area. The operation is practically less painful than all the classical surgery methods and at the same time it is safe and less stressed by post-surgery complications. Patients will also welcome the fact that the duration is only about 30 minutes. The ill spends only short time in the hospital bed and the sick leave from work is alsi  shorter.
