Marks and Dermatological Protubernaces
Birth marks, dermatological protuberances and chronic calluses, all of these are formations which pose a possible threat to our skin. Even from the slightest pigment mark a tumor could develop thanks to the exposure to the sun or external irritation. This could endanger our lives. The opinion that to remove a mark is dangerous for the skin and could malignly proliferate is no longer valid. On the contrary, if the mark is often irritated by clothes or scratching, the above symptoms could develop. That is why it is so important to be careful about one's marks and if any change in shape or color happens, immediately pay a visit to a doctor.
Removal of derma and sub-dermatological items is in our laser center a common surgical procedure. It does not cause any pain and could be done all year round under only local anaesthesia. Thanks to the latest medical methods and with the assistance of the CO2 laser, the treated spot does not bleed, the wound heals quickly and without any complications. There is also a minimum risk of having scars. We also guarantee to patients that we would send the entire removed item for further analysis to the lab so there is no risk of any neglected cure of any possible more serious disease.
Price list:
For laser removal of marks the patient pays a supplement of CZK 980 - 1400 for one procedure. For multiple treatments a discount applies. For removal of milia or xantelesmas in the face area the patient pays a supplement of CZK 3 500 to 7 000 for the treatment of the whole face. For removal of lipoma, or calluses patient pays a supplement of CZK 1 400 for one procedure. A supplement for histological examination with insurance companies not on contract with us is CZK 840 to 1 400.
