Acne

Acne is a disease of sebum glands. Due to the hormonal stipulation, they produce a large amount of sebum. Acne usually occurs in the area of face, but also on the chest and back. Acne could appear as small comedos - pimples or, in the more serious form, as larger infected centres with pustule. Acne is a problem of many of our clients and not only the young ones. Women and men between 12 and 40 years of age are the most probable patients to suffer from acne.

In our LLC clinic, dermatologists and specialists in dermatology deal with the treatment of acne. Several methods and treatments depending on the seriousness of the disease can be used. When the acne is in acute stage we use the so called laser complexion cleansing by the CO2 laser, which opens the infected pores by a laser beam, cleans simultaneously disinfects them. The treatment is almost painless so the patient does not feel any major pain.

Treatment by the laser equipment N-Lite is also very effective. This device is able to disinfect the skin´s surface for a long time which improves the skin´s healing, it prevents inflammation and most of all, it significantly decreases the production of sebum. Treatment by the N-Lite is quick and absolutely painless.

Another standard way of acne treatment is local or overall implication of medicaments, vitamins. In cooperation with a gynaecologist, adjustment of hormonal contrsteption plays vital role.

DiamondPeel

DiamondPeel is another new treatment we would like to introduce. It is a process by which upper layers of the skin are mechanically removed by a peeling machine with gentle diamond extenders. This method is more intensive than classical peeling methods but not so intensive to cause any damage to the treated area. DiamondPeel method helps to quicken face cleansing and its regeneration, remove corneous skin (elbow and knee areas), and facilitates vitamins and pharmaceuticals penetration and whitens uneven skin pigmentation. This procedure encourages the effect of similar regenerative methods, for example N-Lite, Mesotherapy and Fotorejuvenation. The method is suitable for patients with damaged skin, acne or stretch marks. DiamondPeel may be implied not only on face but also on the neck, lower neck, back and belly. The method is absolutely painless. The procedure is performed in several sessions depending on the skin type (non-problematic skin - once a month, problematic skin 1-2 times a week).
