Deep wrinkles - surgical method by the Derma K laser

Deep wrinkles in the face are flattened by the latest surgical laser Derma-K even where classical plastic surgery cannot manage. The surgical laser grinds (smoothens out) the skin on the surface and the laser's heat causes the skin to shrink in the required area. So the wrinkles get finer or disappear in a quite natural way. More extensive procedures such as smoothening of the entire face area or its substantive part are done under total anaesthesia - asleep. Operations of smaller extend (wrinkles around the eyes and mouth) we do with localized anaesthesia. Larger surgeries require about four-day hospitalization at our clinic, smaller ones are done in an ambulatory way.

Immediately after the surgery the entire treated area is stretched and without wrinkles. It heals as if with only minor surface abrasion with small scab development for about four days. During the following 7-10 days the skin is healed but quite pinkish. During this period special oily creams are applied. After only two weeks it is possible to use regular cosmetics and make-up. 1-2 months following the surgery it is necessary to protect the regenerated scar against the sun and other bad effects by using creams with a special protection factor and make-up. Another possibility of removal of deep wrinkles is a surgical face-lift.
